The Atheists, Humanists, & Agnostics at UW-Madison is a registered student organization at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Our members are undergraduate students, grad students, and anyone else that happens to walk through the door. We meet every week during the academic year to discuss issues relevant to non-religious people, plan events, and socialize.
AHA's purpose is:
AHA is really cool because it has a constitution.
Many organizations (particularly those that are faith-based) have rules about who can be a member and who can join. AHA does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religious persuasion. There's no statement of faith or oath to be sworn to anyone or anything, but we might ask your name if you come to one of our meetings!
AHA is affiliated with a number of groups. Some of these groups have their own rules about membership, such as non-discrimination, and economic neutrality. AHA follows these guidelines where applicable.
